両極の対立は黄色と青色にはじまります。
まずはそのような図の配置を念頭に描いてみて下さい。
左は、レモンイエローの上に、バーミリオンを重ね、下に行くほど、
色を強めていきます。
右は、ウルトラマリンブルーにプルシャンブルーでへりの色を深めます。
さらに上部には赤紫を加えます。
黄色のグラデーションは推進力を生み出し、
青色のグラデーションは、遠ざかって行くようです。
しかし両者はそれぞれに依存し合っています。
つまりこのような色の動きは、もし一色だけが単独で表れるなら、
感じられないということです。
黄色はいっそうエーテル的で、意志があります。
青色はもっと物質的で、内省（反射）しています。
青は黄の鏡なのでしょうか？
黄色のインパルスは外側の世界と出合う一方、内側へと集中（黄色→オレンジ色）していきます。
この実習においては、黄色で描いたら、
その次には青色で描きます。
再び黄色の作業に戻り、それからまた青色に戻る、というように
段々に双方を濃くしていきながら、丁度良いと感じるバランスに
到達するまで作業します。
黄色には赤味（オレンジ）を帯びる傾向があります。
青色にも赤味（すみれ色）を帯びてゆく別の傾向があります。
このエクササイズの目的は、この違いを感じることです。

It means, that this dynamic cannot become sensible, if one of the colors alone appears.
YELLOW is more etheric and willing. BLUE is more physical and reflecting.
BLUE the mirror of YELLOW?
The impulse becomes inwardly centred (yellow --> orange) while meeting its outworld.
In our painting we work alternatively on YELLOW,than one BLUE.
Again on yellow, again on blue intensifying.
step by step the colors till we achieve a right feeling of balance.
In the YELLOW a tendency exists to get reddish (ORANGE).
In the BLUE an other tendency exists to become reddish (VIOLET).
The aim of this exercise is to feel this difference.
