A History of Color Circle in Transition

From left to right:
Geothe’s Color Circle – Johann Wolfgang von Goethe [1749 – 1832]

Steiner’s Color Circle – Rudolf Steiner [1861 – 1925]

Boos-Hamburger’s Color Circle – Hilde Boos-Hamburger [1887 - ?]*

Down:
Moreau’s Color Knot – Daniel Moreau [1948 - ]

Hilde Boos-Hamburger is not very wellknown, however, she also developed her own color theory inspired by R. Steiner as his contemporary. She wrote “Der Schopferische Kraft Der Farbe”.

Meaning behind

When we arrange the color circles in this way at a glance, we will see how an idea of color circle, which started in Goethe as a matter of fact, has developed through ages from one to the other as if a baton relay. As you see the “Color Knot” was born out of this background and therefore it is very new and unique in art history.

This figure given in our time is more multidimensional comparing with other color circles, which is a secret of the form knot. We could say that this entirely new concept as “Color Knot” came to us from the future.
