COLOR MEDITATION SCHOOL
WHY COLOUR MEDITATION?
Painters cannot understand colors as a pure effect of the matter: the blue of cyan, the red of the cinnabar
etc. Because colors are general phenomena of the sensitive world but also doors to the soul.
Meditation means that we enter this world of souls for special investigations, not first for intending artistic effects. Exercises of this school are chosen for this aim: to introduce the student in a precise knowledge of this world of soul events and soul beings.
In here each color is a specific vehicle to this world, that we also call the elementary world. Each color reveals a specific nuance of feeling, that also open a way to the spiritual world.
Who makes such exercises can develop the ability to connect more directly with the elementary colors weaving in the surroundings of a human being, with these very colors that are called its aura. Aura colors are the concentrations of willing feeling and thinking of a human being in the environment of its body.
But that is only one aspect of the colour meditation. Who develops more consciousness for the beings of the colors will also become more sure in there artistic and practical use.
One small example has to be mentioned as a kind of illustration. If such an advanced person would create a new restaurant, it wouldn’t put green clothes on the tables, because perhaps of its special preference for this colour. It would try to activate the appetite of the costumers with just the opposite: a reddish coloured cloth.
That is the aim of this school: through appropriated steps of exercise to help you develop a sure, master like relation to colors in there spiritual dimension.
INTRODUCTION
The COLOR MEDITATION SCHOOL is beginning by observing the color circle above, which is not really a circle. We will call it a COLOR KNOT in all our further work of color meditation.
WHAT IS THE COLOR KNOT
Such a picture couldn’t be image of a natural being. It is the result of a long spiritual research, that has been concentrated into a pictorial form, which is appropriated to open the soul. It works like other meditation pictures or mandalas and have the power to enable the student to enter the spiritual word, while discovering its different aspects.
ATTITUDE
Of the most importance is the questioning attitude that the observer develops at the beginning, in wondering about the special form and color order of the figure. The aim of the training through many steps will be to find answer to all his questions.
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Each step begins with a painting exercise and is accompanied by words describing the hidden site of the process and making it more conscious.
THE AIM
A meditative sentence appear than, which has the mission to give the student a spiritual light and to connect him with the eternal being of the involved colors.
That is to say: the value of these practical exercises is not so much in the achieved result as much more in the process of consciousness that you experience in going through difficulties and in your growing ability of overcoming them.
NOTICE
Please don’t try to copy the color knot at the beginning of your way to him. After each meditation (A, B, C …..) you should return to the color knot setting in your PC or to the print of it that you made, and you may view the position of the colors that you just have work with.
GENERAL CONCEPT
Though the COLOR MEDITATION SCHOOL has three Levels (classes) you are invited at the very start to be (or to become) your own coach! You have to decide if you begin by level 1 or 2 or 3, because it may be depending of the skill, that you already developed in your previous history. BUT think: a Master in Art will never despise the simplest exercises, because in them he will find the highest secret of his matter. Consequently we propose to begin by level 1, as far as you would find the necessary free time to do it.
To make free your decision we will now describe shortly the 3 steps of the COLOR MEDITATION SCHOOL :
LEVEL 1
◇Consists of a series of 12 basic exercises (meditations) with 2 or 3 colors .
The colors are chosen as directly related to the knot and its symmetry. While you join this level, you will receive 2 exercises every month in a first period of 6 months.
If you feel some essential difficulty in doing the exercises or have important questions related to the method, please contact the teacher by E-Mail (if possible in English).
LEVEL 2
◇The 12 exercises and meditations of Level 2 introduce the same color compositions as those of level1.
They but give a more precise indication how to proceed in the direction of a definite motive and how to realize it out of the given colors. How colors and motive are spiritually connected is the question, that gives now the start for a new kind of meditation.
After scanning of your own result as an attached document, it is also here possible to send it by E-Mail to your teacher for help.
LEVEL 3
◇In Level 3 is a methodical advice, how to paint (or draw) the COLOR KNOT.
This happens in several steps on the basis of the previous exercises in Level 1 and 2. The meditation texts are centred on the human being, his evolution, his biography and physiology. In this level the KNOT is revealed as a cosmic figure in all its deepness and possible dimensions.
Practical questions could be also send to teacher on this level.

ABOUT SEMINARS
More meditative questions, which would have to be developed in painting and explaining processes, must be the object of a special seminar. Students are invited to take initiative for such events in there city (country) or in Tokyo, where the COLOR MEDITATION SCHOOL has its own centre.

It will begin by Goethe’s Colour theory (last part) and build a bridge to the present School perspectives.
